Yucaipa High School’s head football coach, Justin Price, has achieved an extraordinary milestone: his 100th win leading the Thunderbirds early September against Shadow Hills High School. While this victory adds another mark to the scoreboard, the true impact of Coach Price’s career extends far beyond the field.

Since taking the helm of the YHS football program, Price has not only built a record of athletic excellence but has also cultivated a culture of character, resilience, and community.

His leadership has guided hundreds of student-athletes through the challenges of competition, teaching them lessons that will last well beyond their time in high school.

"Wins are important, but the real legacy of a coach is measured in the lives he shapes,” Athletic Director Matt Carpenter said. “Coach Price has been a mentor, a role model, and an inspiration to countless young men and women in our community.”

Under his leadership, Yucaipa High School football has become more than a sport — it has been a source of pride, unity and tradition for the city. From Friday night lights to community service, Price’s commitment to his players and to Yucaipa itself is evident in every step of his journey.

As the Thunderbirds celebrate this milestone, the community joins in recognizing not just 100 wins, but the immeasurable number of lives touched by a coach whose influence continues to reach far beyond the gridiron.
