Computer Graphic Design 2
Computer Graphics Design 2’s (CGD) primary purpose is to explore two-dimensional real-world applications of graphic art and design. Students will understand the impact and role of visual art and design. Students will use the tools and techniques, developed in Computer Graphic Design 1, to create relevant and engaging designs and projects.
Students will continue to use critical thinking to develop an awareness of historical trends in design, themes and subject matter. The class will use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign CC, Microsoft Office and Adobe Fireworks as tools to acquire essential techniques in creating graphics.
Students will display their work in local and regional art shows and venues.
This is as much an academic class as it is an activity class, as the curriculum meets the University of California A-G standards.
