 NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

Packets for Students New To The District are available for pick up in the Main Office from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday (closed on Friday) beginning June 19, 2017.

 

When packet is picked up, an appointment for paperwork screening with the Registrar will be made.  Appointments will begin the week of July 11.  Appointments are typically 45 minutes to one hour in duration.

 

Documentation Required For Registration

Immunization Record

Proof of Residency (utility bill, rent receipt, etc.)

Birth Certificate (may be a copy)

Transcript from Previous School (may be unofficial)

Parent/Guardian ID

 

If the family is buying a house, close of escrow must occur before the student may register, unless parents are renting a home in Yucaipa prior to close of escrow.

What Jobs Can I Do?

When you are 13 or younger....
You can baby-sit, deliver newspapers or work as an actor or performer.

When you turn 14....
You can work in an office, grocery store, retail store, restaurant, movie theater or amusement park.

When you turn 16....
You can work in any job that is not hazardous.
Youth cannot work in mining, logging, meatpacking, roofing, excavation or demolition.  You cannot drive a car or forklift.  You cannot work with saws, explosives, radioactive materials or most power-driven machines.


When Can I Work?

If you are 14 or 15,
you can work....
Outside school hours
After 7am and until 7pm during the school year (9pm in the summer)
3 hours on a school day
18 hours in a school week
8 hours on a non-school day
40 hours in non-school week

If you are 16 or older, you can work any hours
